Jewelry Care
Everyday care
- Keep jewelry away from hairspray, lotion and perfume.
- Take it off before a chlorinated pool or hot tub, and before using household cleaners with bleach or ammonia.
- Take it off for workouts, sports and heavy work.
- Keep it away from high heat and sudden changes in temperature.
- Wipe each piece with a soft cloth after you wear it.
- Store each piece on its own, in a padded or fabric-lined box, so pieces do not scratch each other.
- Have a jeweler check your jewelry every six months.
How to clean most pieces
- Use warm water, a little mild dish soap and a soft brush.
- Rinse in a glass of water.
- Dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Not sure about a stone? Use warm soapy water only. Skip ultrasonic and steam cleaners.
