The last four months have just swept by me like a rushing tide. Morgan and I have been staying in Anchorage Alaska for these past four months while I have been attending “The Community School Of Worship”. It was eleven degrees out today and we have several feet of snow on the ground. Even though ND isn’t much better I am still looking forward to getting home. We are planning on flying back sometime around the first week of January. I have had the chance to learn so much and interact with so many great people since being up here though. Music Theory has been challenging, but really interesting, and the worship theology has been really enlightening and has made me dig deeper into God’s word to see what Worship really is. I will probably write a post about that later on.
While here I was offered a job as a Worship Pastor at a church in Anchorage. I even went to Texas for a week earlier this month with the Pastor of the Church for a conference. But after a lot of prayer, both Morgan and I felt like the Lord was saying that this was not the place for us and that he still wants us to continue on with our touring and Music Ministry.
For the last few months I have been able to help out Hillside Baptist Church here in Anchorage by meeting with their worship team once a week to help them practice and learn new songs. I also have had the privilege to lead the Church in Worship through song a couple Sundays. I think it is really awesome that God brought this Church into my life at this time and I have been able to apply the things that I have been learning in the school right away. I am really thankful for the people at Hillside Baptist, they have been a great encouragement to Morgan and I.
I have been recording while up here in the frozen land. I plan on coming out with a new album early 2012. It will probably be a EP, around four songs (unless God gives me more soon!) and it will have more instruments on it than my last album, like drums and stuff.
But out of everything going on in my life right now I think that the biggest news is that Morgan Is pregnant! Last week we went into the midwife center and were able to hear the heart beat for the first time. I am so excited to be a father and Morgan is VERY excited to be a mother. The due date is April 24th.
Well that is about it for now. Stay warm! -Madison

Hello friends! There has been a lot going on with Morgan and I lately. Our scheduled tour of Alaska that was supposed to be for only a month has now been extended to nine months!
An opportunity came my way when we arrived here for me to attend The Community School of Worship at our home church here in Anchorage Alaska for two semesters.
The Community School of Worship will begin it’s first season on Sept. 6th with two core classes: Foundations of Worship and Fundamentals of Music. The school is really geared towards people who feel called to be worship leaders. I am not sure yet if that is where God is calling me and my music, but I do feel confident that this is where he wants me now, and that he is going to use me and my music in Alaska for the time that we will be up here.
